Carbis Bay | St Ives | Cornwall

Ashley & Ben’s and ben asked me to photographer their wedding at the breathtaking Carbis Bay Estate. It was everything a coastal celebration should be, sun-kissed, joy-filled, and completely unforgettable.

The festivities began the day before the wedding with a relaxed Beach BBQ on the private sands of Carbis Bay. Ashley’s family had travelled all the way from America, and Cornwall certainly delivered the warmest of welcomes: blue skies, sparkling sea, and that golden light that makes St Ives feel like nowhere else in the world. Everyone kicked off their shoes, enjoyed chilled drinks, incredible food, and soaked in the atmosphere as friends and family gathered together, many meeting for the first time.

Wedding day energy was high from the moment the morning began. The ceremony itself was full of emotion, followed by heartfelt speeches that had everyone laughing (and wiping away the odd tear). The sun stayed out, the sea shimmered, and guests made the most of the estate’s stunning terraces while the drinks flowed.

As evening fell, the wedding band Conscious Club took over and the dance floor became the happiest kind of chaos spirited dancing, endless singing, and infectious energy that kept everyone moving well into the night.

And then, in the most perfect finale, just after midnight we all ended up in the sea wedding guests, outfits, laughter, and all. A spontaneous moonlit swim to close out an extraordinary day for an extraordinary couple.

Ashley & Ben’s celebration was more than a wedding; it was an experience, sunny, joyful, beautifully international, and full of unforgettable.
