Photographer
I’m a wedding photographer based in the South West, usually roaming around Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and the Cotswolds — and travelling across the UK and Europe for couples who want their day captured with a sense of adventure. I’ve been a photographer for 20 years, and I’d describe my style as adventurous, honest, fun-filled and artistic.
I started out as a photojournalist in 2006, shooting for a regional publication before moving onto assignments for all the major national newspapers by the time I was 21. It was a full-on, fast-moving life: long drives, unexpected flights, and my camera becoming a second passport. I still shoot for The Sunday Times and The Times, and I’ve covered everything from breaking news to commercial features — a long-form project inside a women’s prison, Glastonbury Festival, a week underwater on a Royal Navy submarine, celebrity events, a Rpyal wedding, Spring Break chaos, and frontline reporting during the migrant crisis. I even spent time photographing sharks in the wild. All of that shaped how I work today: with instinct, curiosity and a real respect for genuine, unscripted moments.
Now I live in Somerset with my wife, Sophie, and our cat, Tilly. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me on my mountain bike, at a gig, or chasing down a really good coffee. I grew up around skate and BMX culture, and I’ve always been obsessed with music - punk rock, folk rock, metal and hiphop. If that’s your vibe too, we’ll get on instantly.
Letting the emotion of your day shine through.
The best photography feels raw, real, and effortlessly elegant. I let your day take the lead, keeping direction minimal so the story can breathe. My approach is rooted in modern reportage: a photojournalistic eye tailored for weddings, where every frame feels organic, intentional, and alive. I move quietly and intuitively, capturing the art in the in-between those fleeting, unrepeatable moments that disappear as quickly as they arrive. Trust that your day will be documented with calm precision, style, and a sense of soul.
I’ve spent years photographing weddings, and I know how to help couples look natural and feel comfortable while using great light especially those golden-hour shots everyone loves.
After the wedding, I spend about two days editing, and you can expect your full gallery in roughly 3–6 weeks. Every photo is individually edited and delivered in high resolution.
I'll travel anywhere and have shot weddings from the far reaches of the UK to destination weddings in New Zealand, Italy, California and France. If you're currently planning your special day, do get in touch early for my availability as I am currently booking to 2026.
For an extra special touch I offer albums and engagement or pre-wedding shoots - a perfect way to relax clients in front the camera ahead of the big day.
