Destination Wedding Photography

Working as a destination wedding photographer I’ve been fortunate to photograph a number of weddings abroad, from the top of a mountain in New Zealand the the beautiful Italian lakes. Destination wedding photography is a fantastic way to capture the beauty and romance of your special day in a unique and exotic location. Whether you're getting married on a tropical beach, in a scenic mountain setting, or in a historic European city, destination wedding photography can help you to create lasting memories of your special day that you will treasure for a lifetime.

Château de Miserai is a 17th century Château located in the heart of the Perche region on a 350 acre property with ponds, rivers, waterfalls, century old trees and a 17th century watermill with its own waterfront microbrewery. I’m one of the recommended wedding photographers at Château de Miserai and would be delighted to jump on the ferry and drive down to shoot your French Château wedding.

One of the key benefits of destination wedding photography is the opportunity to capture stunning landscapes and natural settings in your wedding photos. Whether you're getting married on the beach, in a forest, or in a city, destination wedding photography can help you to create images that are both beautiful and unique which was certainly the case in New Zealand, an early start finished off with a beautiful coffee and sausage roll at the Mt John Observatory.

Another benefit of destination wedding photography is the ability to take advantage of different lighting conditions and time of day. Whether you're getting married at sunrise or sunset, or in the middle of the day, destination wedding photography can help you to create images that are both romantic and dramatic. I was lucky enough to travel to the French Alps in 2017 to shoot the wedding of Darren & Jenna, a short flight from the U.K. to Geneva then a 3 hour drive from Switzerland into France. The dramatic scenery was a big part of their day and it was important to capture it!

As a destination wedding photographer, there is nothing quite like capturing the beauty and romance of a wedding in Italy. Florence was the destination for Dan & Kate, the city, with its winding streets, stunning architecture, and lush gardens, provides the perfect backdrop for any wedding. Shooting a wedding in Florence was a great way to take advantage of the cultural and historical elements of the city.

Kalkan, Turkey is a picturesque seaside town located on the Mediterranean coast, known for its charming old town, turquoise waters, and traditional Ottoman architecture. Recently, I had the honour of photographing a destination wedding in Kalkan, and it was nothing short of magical.

Overall, destination wedding photography is a fantastic way to capture the beauty and romance of your special day in a unique and exotic location. With the right photographer, you can create lasting memories of your special day that you will treasure for a lifetime.
